Job description

The Construction & Operations Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of tenant related construction and deferred maintenance projects for the Atlantic Region.To apply please visit creit.ca/careers.

 

Construction, Operations & Related Administration:

  • Prepare tenders for all deferred maintenance projects and tenant leasehold projects.
  • Develop construction budgets.
  • Oversee all projects ensuring projects stay within budget and time frame.
  • Supervise all contractors on all on-going projects.
  • Perform all administration related to construction projects, including:
    • Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes;
    • Prepare purchase orders;
    • Process invoices; and
    • Prepare all contract and tender documentation.
  • Communicate with contractors and tenants on a regular basis as it relates to any on-going projects.
  • Prepare monthly status reports for all on-going projects for the Director, Property Management.
  • As required, assist operations team with energy management initiatives, environmental reports or general maintenance

Qualifications & Education:

    • Business Degree
    • RPA or CPM designation is preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate management

  • Technical and/or mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new software programs
