On behalf of Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change, a special project team from Clean Foundation has begun public engagement across the province, to help shape new goals for sustainable development and the future of clean growth in Nova Scotia. The public engagement phase will last until July 26th, 2021.

The Government of Nova Scotia passed the Sustainable Development Goals Act in October 2019. This Act sets ambitious new goals to fight climate change and commits to a new Climate Change Plan for Clean Growth. Stakeholders are asked for their ideas on new goals, and what should be included in the Climate Change Plan for Clean Growth.

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the public engagement will be held virtually. Nova Scotians can submit their ideas, comments, opinions, and suggestions in several ways, including:

  • A Do-It-Yourself workshop kit;
  • Uploading written submissions;
  • Online form submissions; or
  • Engaging in discussion through the live discussion forum.

To find out more visit www.CleanFuture.ca or contact the public engagement team at info@CleanFuture.ca.
