Attend BOMA Nova Scotia events to network with your BOMA colleagues. Typical events include our annual Golf Tournament, Speaker Luncheons, member-only free Building Tours, the popular Holiday Luncheon, Webinars and more. Members can also attend our national conference BOMEX and meet BOMA members from across Canada. During the current pandemic, BOMA has switched to predominantly online programming, with other options available as circumstances allow. Members (principal & subscription contacts) can attend two designated events each year for free, and you can bring your colleagues and guests to all BOMA events at the member rate at any time.

All BOMA members are included in our online directory of members, which includes your corporate logo, contact information, a link to your website and a short info piece about your business. The member-only section of our website includes a Forum, Resource Centre and more, designed to help you stay connected. Sign up additional representatives at a special rate to get the most out of member-only website features.

Take advantage of exclusive opportunities to sponsor events or advertise through our E-News and other publications to increase your corporate profile within BOMA Nova Scotia.

BOMA Nova Scotia offers a variety of education options to people in the commercial real estate industry. Members can attend events to learn the latest in industry news and technologies, access local webinars, workshops and seminars and Canada-wide programs like e-Energy Training. Courses and events are open to all employees of member companies… at the member rate!

BOMA Nova Scotia is the local voice of the commercial property management industry. We represent the industry by participating in provincial and municipal committees, maintaining BOMA Nova Scotia Committees and Task Forces on current issues, and by promoting initiatives that benefit the industry.

BOMA Nova Scotia promotes GIRT, a light rail alternative to HRM’s transportation issues. We support initiatives to increase the sustainability of existing commercial real estate, and promote the international environmental certification program BOMA BEST to local buildings. BOMA Nova Scotia also encourages educational opportunities to recruit and retain new property management professionals. As a member you can get involved by participating in a Committee, Task Force or the Board of Directors.

BOMA also offers members a few more perks:
