Overview
The Building Operations Team Award celebrates the success of the Team that shows a high level of expertise in scheduling preventive maintenance; improving general building operations; and ensuring maximum energy efficiency.
Complete the 2026 Building Operations Team Award Nomination Form. Upon completion, applicants will receive a submission guidebook via email outlining submission requirements.
Entry Fee: $150.00 + HST (invoiced upon application completion). Entry fee must be paid to participate.

Eligibility
All applicants must meet the following criteria:

The company must be a BOMA Nova Scotia member in good standing

Eligible entrants include operations teams, property management companies, and building owners

The team must be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the building(s)

Companies with multiple buildings may submit more than one entry; however:

Only one team per building is eligible

Each team must consist of different individuals

A complete submission must be received by March 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Judging & Evaluation

Judging is based on the written submission and compliance with all award requirements

Submissions must not exceed 3 pages (open format)

Entrants are encouraged to include any information they feel will assist the judges in their evaluation

Shortlisted entrants may be contacted by the judges to arrange a site visit, which forms part of the evaluation process

A select panel of judges will review all submissions; decisions are final
