Emerging Leader Award

The Emerging Leader Award recognizes individuals within the Commercial Real Estate Industry who have demonstrated excellence, is a team leader and is aspiring to be the next leaders in the profession. The award recognizes Leadership, Initiative, and/or Services to the commercial real estate community. The award will be presented to individuals 35 years of age or younger who have showed significate contribution to their organizations and /or within the Commercial Real Estate Industry.

Member of the Year Award

The BOMA Nova Scotia Member of the Year Award honours a member of our local association who has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and/or service to the commercial real estate community. The award recognizes activity during the previous calendar year (2025), rather than service rendered over many years.

The Pinnacle Awards recognize Standards of Excellence displayed by BOMA Nova Scotia member companies. Pinnacle Awards acknowledge innovation, teamwork, outstanding customer service and commitment to clients. There are three Pinnacle categories:

The Building Operations Team of the Year Award celebrates the success of the Team that shows a high level of expertise in scheduling preventive maintenance; improving general building operations; and ensuring maximum energy efficiency.

TOBY Award & Certificate of Excellence

BOMA’s Certificate of Excellence program recognizes excellence in property and facility management. Certification acknowledges commitment to best practices in building performance, quality of building management and the people behind it. Buildings must meet standards in building management, operations, environmental/energy/emergency management, design, tenant and community relations, tenant satisfaction and personnel training.
